**Note:Contractor will be responsible for purchasing parking through the client's Parking Management Office or procuring their own parking.
Job Description:
Work with the data science team to build the visualization applications using ArcGIS and PowerBI platforms and build internal applications using the PowerApps/Powerautomate platform.

Product broad understanding of the VDOT innovation frameworkUse the innovative/latest tools and best practices to build applications using the Power Platform and ArcGISFollow all applicable industry and VDOT standards, processes and ProtocolsEngage multiple customers and develop applications to meet their needsManage stakeholder communications and expectations

Process mapping experienceCode DocumentationWriting Requirements/Product documentsWriting use-casesUsing architectural artifactsInterpreting solution architecturesExcellent written and oral communicationCustomer focused collaborationAbility to travel around the state as neededMinimum of three days in the office to work with the rest of the team
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a high-level compiled language such as C#, C++, Java.
Minimum of 5 years' experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with Microsoft Power Platform to include PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint and Dataverse. (Hard Requirement).Minimum of 5 years' experience using GIS for creating dynamic mapping applications and processing real-time location data.
Minimum of 5 years' experience using RESTful APIS.
Other Software Knowledge:
Visio, Visual Studio Code/Visual Studio Community Edition, SQL Server, Azure Data lake and Warehouse, Oracle, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Experiences.
