Power System Engineer
Direct Hire Opportunity

Ideally someone who enjoys designing, analyzing and optimizing power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. Also developing Electrical system models and performing simulations to evaluate systems performance.
Conduct load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop calculations.
Perform studies to assess system stability, reliability, and power quality.
Identify and propose solutions for system improvements and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and technologies for power system projects.
Prepare technical specifications and documentation for power system designs and projects.
Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and commissioning phases.
Troubleshoot and resolve power system issues as they arise.
Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in power system engineering.

Requirements
BSEE or related field
Proficiency in power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PowerFactory).
Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NERC, IEC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent understanding of electrical equipment, such as transformers, generators, and switchgear.
