    Endocrinologist opening - Ashland, KY Located 67m to Charleston Position Details

    Full-time, permanent
    Hospital-employed
    Incoming physicians will earn salary guarantees plus wRVU productivity.
    Excellent benefits and paid malpractice.
    The practice promotes work-life balance: flexible work schedule, with 7 weeks off
    No call.
    The collegial practice features 3 experienced endocrinologists and 3 talented advanced providers.
    The hospital serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, providers enjoy a vibrant practice.

    Location

    Ashland, KY is a town of about 25,000 people, located right on the Ohio River.

    We have a nice, clean town with minimal traffic, a beautiful and very active performing arts theater, indoor tennis, a large downtown park, and boutique shopping.

    Our Tri-State region (Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia) is renowned for safe, family friendly communities with an excellent cost of living.

    We also host some of the countrys finest state parks that feature golf, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and biking.
    We have four seasons all of which are relatively mild.
    Were also a short drive to metro cities in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus) and Kentucky (Lexington and Louisville).

    We are also about 20 minutes from Huntington, WV, a town about twice the size of Ashland and the home of Marshall University.

    And, about two hours away in West Virginia, there is excellent snow skiing and the New River Gorge National Park, which offers multiple outdoor activities such as whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking, etc.
