Job summary
Technicians need to be available to help pull cable and terminate keystone-style jacks at a large construction site The responsibilities of a cable tech will consist of : Pulling, terminating and testing cat5/6 and fiber optic cables Installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets etc) Install network racks and cabinets in server rooms Review all job documentation for assigned projects To include: Floor plans – equipment locations. Reflected ceiling plans. Conduit call-outs. Wall elevations. Signal flow diagrams. Cable pull schedules This job will require the employees to regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle feel objects type on keyboard reach with hands arms talk hear Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision depth perception ability adjust focus The use power tools will be required effectively perform position Employee must occasionally lift move up 50 pounds Level 2 Cable pay 24-25 depending experience Level 2 Security pay 24-28 depending experience
