Job Summary:

At At Home Companions, we are seeking a Part-Time Afternoon NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our team for a female client in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

As a CHHA, you will be responsible for providing quality care and assistance to clients in their homes. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position with a focus on individual contribution.


Compensation & Benefits:
We offer competitive pay of $19 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly.


Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and errands
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Attend regular training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals

Provide transportation for the client, mileage reimbursement


Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) in the state of New Jersey
• Understanding of proper body mechanics to avoid injury while providing care
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check
