Senior Reservations Clerk - St Petersburg, United States - Marriott
Description
Position Summary:- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations through phone, fax, or mail.
- Identify guest needs, assign rooms, and confirm availability and rates.
- Explain policies, accommodate special requests, and provide information about the property.
- Utilize sales strategies to maximize revenue and handle VIP reservations.
- Input and retrieve data in the reservation system.
- Ensure accuracy of room blocks and reservations.
- Organize group rooming lists and billing accounts according to policies.
- Uphold company standards, maintain professionalism, and protect confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related role.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory background required.
License or Certification: None.
