    POSITION:
    Program Lead, Conversions Engineering


    LOCATION:
    Jupiter, FL.


    STATUS:

    JOB SUMMARY
    Perform engineering and project management activities relating to combustion systems conversions and upgrades on industrial gas turbines.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The essential functions of the job include the following:

    Lead technical preparation for commercial projects' execution per WI3031 including holding installation readiness reviews, timely release of standard reference documentation, maintaining clear alignment with Project Management team and reporting on project performance in support of Project Management.

    Refine existing engineering procedures or develop new ones for continuous efficiency & quality improvement as well as lower execution cost.

    Support sales and tendering group with cost estimation for conversion projects and provide direction for site walkdown support.
    Align with Product Engineering as required by project scope.
    Serve as a focal point for vendors to ensure consistency and continuity across all engineering efforts.
    Work hand-in hand with Commercial team to agree on program milestones and project execution dates
    Generate schedule and secure resources to ensure on time component delivery and project execution
    Assess needs and identify critical path schedules for design, manufacturing and procurement activities.
    Setup and coordinate design reviews per engineering design procedures and address all action items.
    Setup and coordinate risk reviews, highlighting projects' top risks and mitigation strategies.
    Weekly report out and update on project status and milestones to upper management.
    Support onsite implementation and product field validation
    Support the commercial team with customer Interaction to provide technical and project insight and updates.
    Be a focal point interacting with different teams in the organization including supply chain, product engineering and project execution.
    Create, lead and/or deliver presentations to internal and external clients.
    Up to 15% ravel maybe required
    Other duties as assigned.


    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    Education & Training
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field, equivalent industry experience will also be considered
    Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix

    Skills/Experience
    10+ years of applicable experience in the GT industry
    5+ years of experience related to Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) product development and specifications.
    Strong analytical decision-making and organizational skills are required.
    Proficiency with CAD software (ProEngineer or equivalent) desired
    Proficient in computer applications relevant to operational management; including SAP, MS Office programs, PeopleSoft.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Demonstrated coaching and mentoring skills, including ability to motivate and influence others.

    Proven track record of EHS leadership by example; including personal responsibility to prevent accidents, reward and encourage proactive safety, participation in risk assessment and EHS initiatives, take actions aligned to proper work conditions including business travel, customer site requirements, and overall employee well-being.

    Some travel is required.
