    The Structural Engineer will be working with in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams to provide Structural Design and Quality Assurance on industrial (distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, and cold storage) projects for our nationwide clients.

    Required

    • As an entry level structural engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer.
    • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis
    • Masters with Structural emphasis preferred
    • PE and/or SE license desirable but not required
    • Team oriented attitude is a must
    • Resilient and adaptable to design changes

    • This position is based in Birmingham, AL
    • Our clients and projects are nationwide so some travel will be required
    • No other builder can offer the collaborative design-build approach that Clayco is known for and expects
    • 3-D CAD experience is a plus
