A leading hospital system sitting in NYC is seeking a Manager of Information Security to manage, execute and oversee the Information Security Risk Assessment process and procedures to ensure that the hospital is compliant with related regulations and industry requirements like FISMA, PCI, HIPAA and Meaningful Use.

This person will work primarily with activities that involve the Research Department and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including their senior management, IT partners & research staff to identify and manage cybersecurity risks and report back to the organization.

This person will be expected to be aware of the enterprises security goals as established by its stated policies, procedures and guidelines to actively work towards these goals.

• Strong experience performing HIPAA, HITRUST & FISMA assessments
• Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of company personnel, including senior management, frequently on interdepartmental or companywide projects & consult with vendors
• Hands on knowledge of entwork and IS security components, including firewalls, intrusion, detection systems, antivirus software, data encryption and other industrystandard techniques and practices
