    estaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC, a Yum Brands Co-op, is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution to join the Product Supply Team.

    Position is remote.

    Overview of the Position:


    RSCS is accountable for ensuring supply continuity for the +$7B in critical Yum Brand food and packaging components which support 21,000+ restaurants and $20B in revenue across Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, The Habit Burger Grill and A&W in the United States.

    This position's responsibilities include negotiating contracts with distributors and redistributors, managing inventory levels to ensure timely delivery and minimize waste, optimizing distribution routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

    The Senior Manager also collaborates with other departments such as procurement, operations, and finance to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at improving overall supply chain performance and supporting the growth of the restaurant chain.


    Essential Functions:
    Ability to work successfully within the project management team, ensuring the successful transition and
    implementation of the Next Generation Distribution and Logistics model.
    Ensure that project management tasks are aligned within all current business operations teams.
    Responsible for managing all aspects of distribution and warehouse partnerships, driving productivity through
    strategic initiatives.
    Lead day-to-day activities to ensure that the highest level of service is delivered to all restaurants.
    Partner with all distribution and warehouse partners to drive a continuous improvement mindset that positively
    impacts the business.
    Strong supply chain and operational knowledge in the distribution industry and ability to collaborate and
    influence in cross functional areas internally and externally.
    Manage and direct the business relationship with current and future providers, navigating issues and
    negotiating solutions to ensure efficient and cost-effective continuity of supply.
    Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure that on time transitions and new market launches of all
    distribution and warehouse partners.
    Coordinates with Procurement, Finance, IT, Quality, and other internal departments to cross-functionally
    resolve elevated issues.
    Develops and maintains KPIs for all distribution and warehouse partners.
    Oversee monthly actual-to-budget cost variances, identify root cause and drive cost improvements.
    Support cross functional teams to negotiate contracts, amendments, and renewals, aligning with the business
    strategies.
    Manage new product and new market launch activities related to supply chain along with other key functions
    (Commercial, S&OP, Manufacturing, SC Planning, Logistics, Quality, and logistics/freight) and track progress
    for on-time launch.
    Ensure that identified continuous improvement opportunities in the overall launch processes. Work closely with
    key business partners in IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, Development and Equipment
    Solutions, and Quality to establish clear processes and deliverables.
    Reports milestones per plan in a consistent manner to meet the Launch objectives and metrics.
    Collaborates with the team to resolve issues and organizes team to execute on the corrective actions.
    Assist in the creation of Standard Operating Procedures.
    Interface with all levels of management.
    Other duties as assigned by management.
    Up to 50% to 75% travel

    Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
    Bachelor's degree required. Supply Chain degree or concentration preferred.
    Prefer MBA, APICS CPIM certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or ISM CPSM certification.
    5 years of distribution management Plans and drives scoping, requirements definition and prioritization
    activities for large, complex initiatives.
    Selects, adopts, and adapts appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools and techniques
    selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
    Obtains input from, and formal agreement to, requirements from a diverse range of stakeholders. Negotiates with
    stakeholders to manage competing priorities and conflicts.
    Establishes requirements baselines.
    Ensures changes to requirements are investigated and managed.
    Contributes to the development of organizational methods and standards.
    Prefer direct knowledge & experience within a food supply chain organization.
    Require experience with Microsoft office and various project management tools.
    Prefer experience with design software (i.e Lllamasoft or similar)
