    Sales Director West Coast, USA

    Lightbits is expanding our world-class sales organization in the Western U.S.

    The right candidate will have a proven track record of account development, as well as knowledge of data storage, public cloud and application areas.

    Responsibilities

    Develop and execute successful sales cycles around prospects that are looking to deploy our scalable, software-defined hybrid cloud data platform.

    Build a sustainable network that includes partners, customers and alliances contacts for your "franchise"

    Build and manage a healthy pipeline of "cloud builder" prospects who are on the leading edge of building a better internal or external cloud with next generation NVME/TCP flexibility and performance.

    Embrace our consultative sales approach that incorporates findings from your Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers and Business Development peers into strong proposals, tied to business outcomes for your prospective customers.

    Create partnerships and an internal feedback loop with our marketing, business development, product management and customer success teams; all of whom are committed to helping you build your business through growth and acquisition of customers.

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Good general knowledge of both data center and cloud infrastructures, as well as applications and workloads that drive demand for our product
    3+ years field hardware/software sales experience
    Familiarity with the open source ecosystem and the cloud IT landscape
    Continuous demonstrated success at 1+ organization(s)
    Knowledge of how infrastructure architects and adjacent functions within enterprise and service provider clients evaluate and implement new technologies.
