Information Technology Systems Administrator


REPORTS TO:
VP of Finance & Operations


POSITION SUMMARY:

This person will be responsible for leading KINF's oversight of Enterprise Applications (Salesforce, NetSuite), understanding the business needs of KINF and how technological capabilities may meet that need, providing Business Partner support to other departments, and ensuring the basics of a sound & secure technology environment for KINF.

This role reports to the VP of Finance & Operations and is eligible for either in-person or a hybrid work environment at KINF's offices in Roseville, Minnesota.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Application Management

Oversees and maintains the operating environments and underlying data of KINF's core enterprise applications (Salesforce, NetSuite) to ensure it meets agreed upon IT service levels and to support business application.

Manage relational databases such that information maintained in system is structured & can be pulled automatically or by query to address business questions.

Conducts internal needs assessments of potential business problems to determine whether current instance of our Salesforce &/or NetSuite application can be modified to support assessment.

Maintain current business knowledge & acumen on data structure & capabilities of Salesforce & NetSuite.

Responsible for maintenance & management of the contractual relationships with Salesforce & NetSuite.
Business Partnering Support

Regularly meet with KINF's departmental leadership & monitor how KINF's technology is supporting their growth & needs development.

Support KINF's department leadership with their customized third-party software & website applications.

Partner with our Mission Impact team by overseeing key Evaluative Impact reporting that is sourced out of KINF's Salesforce systems.

Partner with our development team by overseeing key Donor Account & Revenue Opportunity ownership reporting that is sourced out of KINF's Salesforce systems.

Partner with our Finance & Operations teams to ensure NetSuite is running at its required service level & its deployment is meeting the business need.

Support the funding and programs platforms to ensure smooth operations and experience, upgrading the platforms as needed.
Departmental Management

Prepare & manage the IT annual budget of approximately $125k direct & $75k indirect.

Ensure the company's information & IT resources are secure from external & internal threats.

Work to outsource KINF's management of hardware/network/desktop support through a local IT provider and then monitor the performance of the firm selected for this service.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT.

Five-plus years of related IT experience.

Exceptional written & verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to a non-IT audience.

Experience leading or supporting IT projects or sub-teams responsible for technology related implementations.

Strong judgment & excellent analytical ability

Strong communications skills & ability to work effectively with all levels of business leadership.

Experience working with & managing vendor relationships.

Experience managing budgets for functional area of responsibility.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS

2+ years of experience in Salesforce or similar level CRM platform

2+ years of experience in NetSuite

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Required to sit for long periods of time.

Extensive use of computer, keyboard & mouse.

Occasionally required to lift &/or move up to 50 pounds.
