    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelors degree required.
    • 2 years experience in an professional office setting or at an educational institution.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Information Management:

    • Creates presentation materials through the coordination with academic leaders and assigned constituents.
    • Compile and maintain minutes for academic units in consistent and professional manner to be shared with constituents and regulatory entities.
    • Share information within prescribed timeframes, and upon leadership approval, to engage constituents, ensure accuracy, and promote transparency.
    • Generate reports as requested by academic leaders.
    • Manage expense reporting as assigned.
    • Maintain confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
    • In collaboration with the Marketing Dept. create and publish semesterly newlestter for the School of Nursing.

    Meeting & Event Coordination:

    • Manages central academic affairs calendar to ensure recency with all activity.
    • Provides weekly updates to academic leadership on upcoming events and needed coordination to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Organize and support academic and university meetings/events such as academic committee meetings, ICI learning subcommittee, etc. (Board of Trustees), academic council, council of assembly chairs, and program committees.
    • Arrange and coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and events.
    • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and presentations as necessary.

    • Attend meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
    • Engage with vendors to ensure events/activities are well-planned and executed to meet desired outcomes.
    • Support new employee onboarding as assigned through direct engagement or established programs (HU Achieve).
    • Provide logistical support for board meetings, regulatory and compliance initiatives.

    Travel Support & Management:

    • Serve as primary travel support person for academic constituents with university travel agency.
    • Assist constituents with travel reservations and accommodations to meet desired needs.
    • Process travel modifications as needed.
    • Provide training and support for new users to travel platform.
    • Prepare travel itineraries and supporting materials in advance of travel.
