    Procurement Manager

    will identify, develop, and maintain the implementation of procurement category strategies specific to barrel and grain sourcing.

    Job Responsibilities:
    Identify key suppliers within the barrel and grain category and effectively analyze supplier performance against key performance indicators
    Development and communication of category strategies with top level business partners to align the strategies with long term vision of company
    Development and management of price/cost savings projects using a wide range of techniques including contract negotiations, supplier development, material reduction, and/or competitive market analysis
    Review and report on current market trends on commodity pricing
    Continued review of material plans to ensure on time delivery of materials to meet distilling demands, including creating/revising purchase orders and scheduling releases against purchase orders
    Collaborate with R&D and distillery operations on liquid development projects
    Oversee root cause investigations into material nonconformances and supplier service misses, including implementing immediate corrective actions, along with preventive actions
    Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization

    Must have Qualifications:
    4+ years of experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, preferably within the spirits, beverage, or CPG industry.
    Bachelor's degree is required, preferred in finance, economics or similar
    Experience sourcing grains for Consumer Packaged Goods
    Experience analyzing large amounts of data and summarizing key findings
    Advanced in Microsoft Excel
    Experience with maintaining and developing supplier relationships
    Experience working with cross-functional teams
    Ability and desire to travel within Kentucky and Globally
    Must be a great communicator, be comfortable influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and have results-driven mentality
