Health Services clinic is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join talented and growing team.
About the Clinic:
Current clinic hours are M-F 8-5. In the process of building a completely new state of the art 78, sq ft medical clinic . The project includes a 54, SF medical clinic, a 3, SF Community Room/Cultural Center/Commercial Kitchen, and 20, SF of Health Services administrative offices. The Project will provide primary, dental, mental and behavioral healthcare services, as well as a new in-house pharmacy and laboratory. To treat the whole person, the outpatient behavioral health department will be a consolidated service including mental health, social services, and alcohol and substance abuse.
The Project will allow us to increase patient visits from 8, in to an estimated 38, patient visits annually once fully operational which is 4.5 times increase in patient visit capacity.
The Community:
El Paso is a great place to live for those who like the outdoors. The metro areas proximity to the Rio Grande provides opportunities to whitewater raft, canoe and fish, while Franklin Mountains State Park and Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site are great hiking and rock climbing spots.
The cost of living in El Paso is lower than the national average, while the cost of housing is well below that of other major metropolitan areas, including Houston and Austin. The Central, Cielo Vista and Mesa Hills areas offer more affordable rental properties, while neighborhoods in the northwestern and eastern parts of the metro area have some of the more expensive housing inventory. The amount residents spend on everyday expenses, such as food and transportation, is slightly less than what the average American pays.
El Paso experiences all four seasons, but theres a reason its called the Sun City: The region sees about days of sunshine each year. In the summer, the desert heat is dry but not humid. The area has also been known to see snow.
