    VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center is growing its Emergency & Critical Care Service and seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our Day Team
    Starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field. Financial growth opportunities are available.

    Schedule:
    Full-time opportunity, with rotating weekends. Day/1st shift.
    Our Emergency and

    Critical Care Service:

    Our Emergency and Critical Care Technicians thrive in a fast-paced service, handle critical case, and enjoy the stimulating caseload.

    In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality emergency care to animals in need.

    Our Emergency and Critical Care team ensures that the most critical cases receive immediate attention and that all patients receive the care they need.


    Team Collaboration:
    Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care. Maintain open communication with the healthcare team.

    Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Vigilantly monitor hospitalized patients, recognizing subtle changes in their clinical status and promptly reporting any concerns to the veterinary team.

    Provide clear and concise discharge instructions to clients, ensuring they understand the care their furry family member requires after leaving the hospital.

    Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in capturing radiographs and other diagnostic images.

    Blood Transfusion Therapy:
    Including collection, administration, and transfusion reactions.

    Assist Doctors:
    Collaborate closely with veterinarians to assist in exams, treatments, and medical procedures for emergency cases.
