QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you'll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.

Responsibilities:

• Supports the execution of cell culture, harvest and downstream purification process studies using 300 L scale pilot equipment including bioreactors, chromatography skids and filtration systems.
• Routine tasks include equipment preparation such Clean-In-Place and Steam-In-Place, compounding media and buffer solutions, and sampling.
• Utilizes scientific principles in execution of experiments and analysis of experimental data.
• Carries out laboratory tasks per plan and procedure in a team environment.
• Documents data and process information in accordance to good documentation practices. Performs laboratory safety evaluations.
• Organizes and stocks laboratory supplies.
• Performs minor equipment maintenance.
• Executes process/equipment troubleshooting.
• Performs daily cleaning and sanitization of the laboratory.
• Performs in-process testing using laboratory analyzers.
• Day to day maintenance and setup of experiments, manufacturing equipment, and benchtop laboratory work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Life Sciences,
• 6 months related work experience
• Prior hands-on experience in pilot- or large-scale cell culture or downstream purification process development or manufacturing.
• Experience with automated computer-controlled biopharmaceutical equipment.
• Knowledge of process data compilation and analysis.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends (2-3 weekend days a month max for a about 3 hours total)
• M-F (7:30am-4pm)
