Job Description

As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver Overnights in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide strong customer service and clear communication with associates and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring integrity, teamwork, and an innovative mindset to a role that keeps operations moving.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Monitor access points and vehicle flow, verify identification and credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, contractor and delivery logs per site requirements.

Observe and report irregular conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, suspicious behavior and/or operational hazards, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document actions taken, and complete required shift reports and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Loss Prevention is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
