    Title: Deputy Weighmaster/Admin Assistant

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Reports To: Office Manager

    Pay Range: $21-$22.91/hr.

    We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Deputy Weighmaster/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 4201 Florin Perkins Rd. in Sacramento and limited job-related travel may be required.

    Position Summary:

    GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Deputy Weighmaster/Administrative Assistant to provide support to one or more facilities. This role calls for a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a team of individuals who work well together. The position comes with a high learning curve and the key functions, skills and qualifications are imperative to the success of the role.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Assist customers with service information, provide accurate costs and accept payment for inbound and outbound transactions.
    • Ability to learn material classification and review loads.
    • Work well in a team setting and work well with others including team members, supervisors, managers, and customers.
    • Attention to detail is critical for data entry.
    • Manage traffic control and provide site direction to offload the material.
    • Answer phone calls and filing.
    • Update customer's contact and payment status.
    • Assist with reviewing tickets and invoices.
    • Assist with sales and vendors reconciliation.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Basic math skills
    • Basic computer skills, printing, and data entry
    • Ability to follow instructions.
    • Reliable and great attendance
    • Punctuality
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Customer service skills
    • Ability to climb up and down a staircase to review loads, reach above shoulders, prolonged sitting or standing.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED

    Language Skill:

    • Proficiency in English and/or Spanish

    Physical Demands:

    • Make sure to list the physical demands, such as push, pull, standing
    • Ability to physically push, pull and lift objects up to 75 lbs.
    • Constant bending and twisting
    • Frequent standing, walking and semi-frequent sitting
    • Constant climbing in and out of equipment to grab carts

    Work Environment:

    Typical work week will be discussed, can include Saturday and Sunday. Will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions. Ability to work in setting with frequent changes in equipment, start/end time, service city/town and routes based on the operational needs for the day and or week.

    Compensation and Benefits:
