- Review and prepare individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns ranging in complexity
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and guidance to tax staff, seniors, and other team members
- Serve as the primary client contact to answer questions, provide tax advice, and manage client engagements
- Prepare income tax projections and lead implementation of tax strategies
- Perform tax research and preparation of responses to tax notices
- Serve as liaison between client and taxing authorities to proficiently solve tax inquiries
- Maintain timely knowledge of new tax legislation and application to clients through proactive research and relevant continuing education
- Efficiently manage a variety of projects, often deadline driven
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of progressive tax compliance and consulting experience in public accounting
- Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong analytical, technical and accounting skills
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to develop excellent client relationships
- Strong leadership aptitude
- $100,000 - $150,000 / year, depending on experience
