    This role will focus on:
    Withyour strong Quality Engineer background, as a Supplier Quality Engineer within our brand new WM, America Manufacturing Inc.

    site, you have robustinvestigation experience and exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills Accordingly, the SupplierQuality Engineer is highly supplier-focused, requiring excellent interpersonaland communication skills (oral and written) to manage supplier qualityassurance responsibilities and ensure compliance across and at all levels ofthe organization on major programs from design through production stages.

    As an integral part of our success, you will initiallybe focused on:
    Drivingimprovement and corrective action in the quality of components sourcedfrom outside suppliers.
    Monitoringsupplier performance to drive supplier corrective action, addressingmanufacturing yield issues and field failures.


    Internal:


    Having informational contact and Interfaces with various production,engineering and quality personnel as part of investigation ofmaterial-related issues at receiving inspection or in manufacturing.

    Interfacingwith Project Managers on project status, test procedures, productreliability issues and test results.


    External:
    Interacting with various vendors relating to material issues andinvestigation and remediation of those issues.
    Workingunder general supervision, validates and evaluates data, analyzes cause offailures, suggests remedies and writes up results.
    Workrequires application of theoretical principles and creative/analyticaltechniques.
    Applyingengineering and scientific principles to the evaluation and solution oftechnical problems.
    Exercisingtechnical judgment in planning, organizing, performing, coordinatingand/or directing engineering work.
    Remainingabreast of and consults on technical advancements and industryspecifications/standards.
    Identifyingand routinely using the most effective, cost efficient and best practicesto execute processes; continually evaluating their effectiveness andappropriateness.


    What you'll be doing :
    Providing oversight and advisory support to all areas of operations on quality and compliance issues.
    Supporting in the development and fostering of a broad quality community across Supply, Sales, Product and Design functions.
    Contributing to WMFTS-wide Quality and Compliance projects as and when required.
    Engaging with all parts of the business to effectively embed the Company values.
    Representing WM, America Manufacturing Inc. and WMFTS at internal and external events, conference and meetings, where appropriate.

    To be successful in this role, youwill need:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relatedfield.3+ years of relevant experience in a similarrole.
    Preferably experienced in medical devices orother regulated industries.
    Strong background in conducting CAPAs,Investigations, and formal Root Cause Analysis.
    Quality Engineer backgrounds with robustinvestigation experience will also be considered.
    Exceptional problem-solving and analyticalskills.
    Ability to work independently andcollaboratively within a team.
    Strong communication skills to interacteffectively with suppliers and internal teams.
    Detail-oriented with a focus on continuousimprovement.
    Six Sigma Green / Black belt preferred.
    Knowledge of regulatory requirements in themedical device or regulated industries is a plus.
