Accounting Manager Position 9592

• Prepare and submit monthly journal entries and account reconciliations in a timely manner
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Meet department milestones/goals and metrics
• Assist in month-end close and annual audit process
• Improve processes for increased organizational efficiency
• Support the accounting team in overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
• Complete journal entries and account/balance sheet reconciliations along with variance analysis
• Utilize financial analysis tools for preparing financial reporting packages
• Support acquisition activities and integration of new business units related to parts and service departments
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and best practices
• Assist in process improvement projects
• Prepare audit schedules and provide documentation for external auditors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations
• Ability to research, analyze, and reconcile company-wide financial documents
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
• Experience with accounting software and/or ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
