    Job Title: Fire Protection Engineer

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Protection Engineer with proficiency in AutoCAD to design, analyze, and oversee fire protection systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and Drafting: Develop detailed fire protection system designs using AutoCAD.
    • Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with applicable fire codes, standards, and regulations such as NFPA, IBC, and local building codes.
    • System Analysis: Perform hydraulic calculations, fire risk assessments, and egress analysis to determine appropriate fire protection solutions.
    • Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate fire protection systems into overall building designs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with a strong focus on design and drafting using AutoCAD.
    • EIT (Engineer in Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred. NICET certification in fire protection is a plus.

    Salary:

    $90,000 - $110,000 per year

    The salary range for this position is based on the national average for a Fire Protection Engineer with similar experience and qualifications.
