- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical. process control, chemical engineering or a related degree in engineering is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a Control Engineer, Automation Engineer, Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering role
- Experience working in an automated plant.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience using AutoCAD Electrical is a PLUS
- Supporting operations and capital projects.
- Utilize automation systems to increase the throughput, quality, safety and reliability of our processes.
- Provide conceptual system design for proposed projects and design documentation sufficient for construction, operations, and maintenance.
- Develop engineering and capital cost estimates for assigned projects
- Implement programming guidelines and standards.
- Design, program, modify and maintain PLC and HMI systems.
- Manage implementation of upgrades and new technology.
- Create instrumentation and control system specifications.
- Using AutoCAD electrical for designing of electrical schematics.
