    Summary:

    The Treasury Operations Accountant role includes managing bank accounts, maintaining general ledger records, performing banking operations and cash management transaction processing. This position will also Include measuring, tracking and monitoring lease sub-servicing system production control KPI's.

    Key Accountability: Accounts Receivable Cash Application
    • Monitor the daily production control cycle to insure timely and accurate G/L posting in accordance with accounting closing calendar, to include credit card, electronic debit ACH, lockbox, wire transaction and check deposits incoming cash flows.
    • Assist with daily cash and banking functions as necessary (PEQ and Sundry G/L Accounts)
    • Reconcile Company level unapplied suspense cash accounts.
    • Responsible for the timely reconciliation of bank accounts.
    • Resolve performance related issues/escalations with WSFS inter-company and/or third-party relationships.
    • Partner with IT Administrator to monitor servicing system SFTP protocols, including reviewing error logs and initiating corrective actions.
    • Process customer refunds in a timely manner.
    • Auto disposition process and procedure.
    • Respond daily to requests for research and assistance related to banking confirming check or ACH settlement.
    • Process OTC check image deposits.
    • Serve as liaison with WSFS Cash Management and Wire Service Group to administer inter-company banking service and employee security permissions.
    Key Accountability: Lease Funding and Accounts Payable:
    • Assist with G/L reconciliation and disbursement processes.
    • Publish balanced scorecard to measure defined SLAs (e.g., vendor disbursements), quality assurance and workflow efficiency.
    • Assist with Disbursement processing as required.
    • Administer year-end IRS 1099 payee filings and mailing.
    Key Accountability: Operations Accounting:
    • Develop and maintain desk procedures to ensure internal controls are maintained, including applicable operating approvals, authorizations, verifications, and reconciliations.
    • Support internal and third party-related examinations and audits.
    • Responsible for identifying and remediating production control incidents.
    • Establish a process to identify, record and settle parent inter-company transactions.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or treasury related experience.
    • Minimum 3+ years' experience in financial services industry.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
    • Strong computed literacy skills.
