    Financial Controller:


    We are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and collaborate closely with the CFO to manage financial responsibilities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
    • Prepare and release timely monthly financial statements.
    • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reports.
    • Address technical accounting matters for compliance.
    • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Ensure accuracy and quality control in financial transactions and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Establish and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
    • Coordinate audit activities.
    • Monitor and report on financial metrics.
    • Oversee the internal controls framework.
    • Review and approve journal entries.
    • Prepare and approve monthly commissions.
    • Maintain technical accounting policies.
    • Perform additional controller duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    • 5 years of experience in Finance roles within software or related industries.
    • Proficiency in managing general ledger, financial and accounting reporting, and familiarity with current accounting standards.
    • Experience with financial tools like NetSuite ERP system.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • CPA certification is required.

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree minimum, Master's degree preferred.

    Experience:
    5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
