    The Job

    An IT Help Desk Technician contributes to the success of Hartwig by providing support for the company's computer systems. Main responsibilities of this full-time position based in the St. Louis office include:

    • Provides support for computer systems, office equipment and connections to remote sites
    • Set-up computers and user accounts for new employees as well as IT orientation for laptop and cell phones
    • Manage MAC (moves, adds, changes) for user accounts
    • Hardware refresh for aged out computers
    • Deactivations when team members leave the company
    • Confers with users and IT team members to develop new approaches or alternatives to ensure that user assistance is being provided effectively and efficiently
    • Assists in problem solving for applications issues
    • Maintains network and PC preventive maintenance, logging efforts to ensure network and data integrity
    • Troubleshoots and diagnoses data communication issues

    The Skills

    Individuals who ideally fit this role should meet the following qualifications:

    • Two-year degree in Information Technology or minimum 1 year computer network support experience required
    • Time management, strong organizational skills, positive customer service attitude and strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
    • Professionalism and proactive ability to build long-term relationships with team members and customers
