- As a representative of Oak Street, work with leadership of clinical training programs to develop new relationships and deepen engagement with those with whom we have existing agreements
- With Provider Affairs and Engagement team, identify targeted training programs and leaders
- Discuss potential affiliation agreements and clinical rotation offerings with program leadership
- Develop a shared understanding of the benefits of affiliating with Oak Street Health and align on the value proposition
- Develop and assist with the execution of a strategy to expand the Oak Street graduate medical education portfolio.
- identify programs per region that are key to effective pipeline development for recruitment of providers.
- Partner with regional medical leadership to explore the graduate medical education landscape and to understand the preceptor capacity of each region
- Assist in identifying and supporting potential preceptors in each region
- Consult on the list of priority national programs to target year over year based on an understanding of the national medical education landscape and hiring trends
- Champion GME efforts to help increase the number of providers participating in value-based care talks and precepting
- Educate medical director cohort and advocate for the positive impact of leveraging personal networks and increasing GME capacity in centers / regions
- Create accountability for medical directors and give medical directors tools needed to successfully engage with local programs
- Review curriculum delivered to clinical learners and track success of Oak Street's educational goals and objectives
- Review and refresh didactic materials given to rotators semi-annually
- Analyze post-rotation assessments from past rotators and collect feedback from preceptors to create recommendations on how to improve rotation curriculum and learner experience

- US work authorization
- Previous experience in a leadership position.
- M.D. / D.O. / APN / PA clinical training including an active license to practice.
- Physicians should be Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Geriatrics.
- Fellowship training or 2 - 3 years experience in medical education is preferred
- Training and experience providing primary care at Oak Street for at least 1 year
- Prior clinical leadership or supervision experience is preferred.
- Experience with managed care and/or value-based practice and familiarity with payer-provider collaboration.
- Experience with program management and working with external leaders.
- Experience developing and implementing new processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a staff, providers, and a diverse group of leaders.
