    ContractOccupational Therapist for the School Year

    We areworking with a school district in Palo Alto, CA that islooking to hire a contract occupational therapistforthe school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year.


    As a Contract School Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to support the diverse needs of our students.

    Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions to help students achieve their educational goals and participate fully in school activities.


    Caseload Details:
    Fulltime: 37.5hours per week

    Monday - Friday

    Hours: 7:30- 3:30

    August 14th, June 5th, 2025
    K-12th grade caseload


    Responsibilities:
    Collaborate with the OT to assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and other areas related to occupational therapy.
    Participate in the development of individualized plans based on assessment results.
    Assist in implementing therapeutic activities and interventions to improve students' fine and gross motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
    Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to address specific needs.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' progress, including assessment results, intervention plans, and session notes.
    Communicate effectively with other members of the educational team regarding students' occupational therapy needs.
    Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate occupational therapy goals into the overall education plan.


    Requirements:
    Active California OT license
    Masters in Occupational Therapy
    CPR certification.
    Previous pediatric or school experience preferred
    Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
