    Based in Los Olivos, CA, Bar Le Côte is a stylish seafood tavern located in the former Sidestreet/Sides space. Bell's (Esquire's 2020 Best New Restauratnt) Los Alamos owners and Per Se alums Daisy (2020 Food & Wine Best New Chef), Greg Ryan & Chef Brad Mathews are the owners behind this new venture.

    Job Summary



    The Server represents the restaurant with the highest levels of hospitality, professionalism, and sanitation safety. The Server must interact with restaurant guests, team members, and management in a professional and collaborative manner to create an exemplary and safe dining experience. The Server provides food and drinks to guests in an efficient, timely and friendly manner.


    The range of compensation is $23 - $25/hour plus tips.

    Our restaurant offers access to insurance enrollments (must maintain 30 hours per week), 401(k) retirement plan, 50% dining discounts at group restaurants and more

    Key Responsibilities
    • Welcomes and provides excellent hospitality to guests
    • Able to identify regulars and VIPs; communicates to the team accordingly
    • Sets up and breaks down the dining room for service
    • Completes opening and closing side work
    • Keeps section clean and organized
    • Provides water, beverages, and menus to guests
    • Explains menu items to guests and answers questions about preparation and ingredient sourcing
    • Takes food and beverage orders and always asks about allergies and dietary restrictions
    • Rings orders in POS with proper coursing and modifiers
    • Provides share plates and appropriate mise en place
    • Runs and describes food and beverage appropriately
    • Maintains water levels throughout the dining room
    • Clears plates, busses and cleans tables
    • Polishes plates, silver, and glasses
    • Prints, processes, splits, and closes checks appropriately, and ensures credit card slips are signed

    Work Environment
    • Involves standing and walking the entire shift
    • Involves holding objects with hands
    • Involves reaching, bending, and stooping frequently
    • Involves lifting, moving, and carrying at least 50 pounds with frequency throughout shift
