    Network and Voice Operations Specialist

    Temporary to Permanent Position

    Location: HQ - Onsite Only

    Role Overview:

    This role involves managing both our network operations and voice communications, ensuring seamless connectivity and support across the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Network Management: Oversee and manage the functionality and efficiency of our network systems using Cisco switches and SolarWinds monitoring.
    • Voice Communications: Handle setup and maintenance of Cisco Unified Communications Manager functions including call forwarding, hunt groups, and voice account setups.
    • Vendor Interaction: Manage relationships with voice/data carriers and vendors, ensuring effective communication and service delivery.
    • Hot Cuts and Circuit Turn-Ups: Execute critical transitions and upgrades without service interruptions.
    • Documentation: Utilize Visio and PowerPoint to document system configurations and operations clearly and accurately.
    • End-User Support: Provide first-line communication with branch personnel, addressing and resolving issues escalated from end users or the helpdesk.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in managing Cisco network environments, with specific knowledge of Cisco switches.
    • Proficient with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and its functionalities.
    • Familiarity with SolarWinds software is a significant advantage.
    • Strong capabilities in system documentation tools such as Visio and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

    Work Conditions:

    • This is a full-time, on-site position requiring the candidate to be present at the office every day.
    • Initial temporary term of three months, with the possibility of transition to permanent based on performance and operational requirements.
