    Job DescriptionEmblem es una empresa de diseño y fabricación de muebles comerciales que se centra en muebles personalizados. Buscamos tapizador que tiene experiencia haciendo patrones para muebles únicos por encargo a los clientes.

    Descripción del Trabajo:
    • Trabajar bajo la dirección del líder de Tapicería y jefe de Producción.
    • Crear patrones para productos de muebles personalizados y establecer patrones para productos estandarizados.
    • Preparar y cortar patrones para mandar a cortar.
    • Hacer sugerencias para mejorar el proceso o hacer más eficiente el uso de telas en los patrones.
    • Recibir sugerencias sobre los patrones y luego realizar los ajustes.
    • Combinar patrones en textiles cuando sea necesario.
    • Trabajar cercano con los fundadores, el jefe de tapicería y el fabricante de marcos en el diseño de productos.
    Requisitos de trabajo:
    • Mínimo 3-5 años trabajando como patronista con énfasis en tapicería personalizada.
    • Se requiere hablar español (preferible algo de inglés pero no es necesario)
    • Capacidad para leer e interpretar dibujos arquitectónicos y CAD.
    • Capacidad para levantar 50 libras (ejemplo: rollos de tela); otras demandas físicas ligeras como doblarse, levantar objetos y girar
    • Hacer en un miembro positivo, dar apoyo a los demás, y tomar bien las instrucciones.
    Fecha de inicio: Inmediata
    Horario: El equipo de producción trabaja de 6:00am a 2:30pm. Tiempo completo de 40 horas por semana

    Emblem is a commercial furniture design and manufacturing company with a focus on unique custom upholstered furniture. We are seeking an upholstery pattern maker with experience in custom furniture.

    Job Description:
    • Work under the direction of Upholstery Lead and Floor Production Lead
    • Make patterns for custom furniture products and establish patterns for standard products
    • Cut patterns to prepare for sewing
    • Make suggestions for improvements and fabric yardage efficiency in patterns
    • Acquire feedback on patterns then make adjustments
    • Match patterns in textiles as needed
    • Work closely with founders, lead upholster, and frame maker on product design
    Job Requirements:
    • Minimum 3-5 years working as pattern-maker with an emphasis on custom upholstery
    • Spanish-speaking required (prefer some English)
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural and CAD drawings
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs (example: rolls of fabric); other light physical demands such as bending, lifting, and twisting
    • Become a positive, supportive member of our team by encouraging others and taking direction well
    Start date: Immediate
    Schedule: 8 hour shift with 30 minute lunch, Production team works 6am-2:30pm
    Status: Full-time, non-exempt (40 hours per week)
    Benefits: Paid national holidays plus 1 week paid vacation, 1 week sick leave, 401(k) available
    Note: Other benefits evolving as team grows over the next 12 months.
    Ability to commute/relocate: Must be able to work from our factory in Chino, CA 91710
