Heavy Equipment Operator - Custer, United States - Central Processing Corp
Description
County Materials Corporationis a leading manufacturer and trusted industry resource for concrete construction and landscape products. For more than 75 years, their products have been used to build the communities where Americans live, work and play.
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our customer, County Materials in Custer, WI.

Starting Wage: $24.00/hour +, based on experience.
Job Duties
* Primarily operate articulating off road haul truck; operate dozer, excavator or other heavy mobile equipment as needed
* Transport and dump materials safely and efficiently
* Inspect equipment daily, maintain as needed
* Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment
* Communicate clearly with other personnel on site
* Watch for and fix any safety or environmental hazards or noncompliance issues
* Manage excessive dust by watering the roads
* Ensure a critical supply of parts are in stock and available in case of a breakdown
Work Environment
* Work at various locations throughout Central WI
* Work out of town approximately 12 weeks per year; home weekends
* Work in outdoor weather conditions
* Work near moving machinery and equipment
* Work in a noisy environment

Experience & Qualifications
* 1-2 years' experience in related field preferred

* Safety minded when performing tasks
* Must be able to travel
* Valid driver license with clean driving record required
