    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes.

    Location: Philadelphia, PA

    Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 annually

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Consolidate financial statements for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Provide variance analysis and explanations for management review.
    • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
    • Monitor budget-to-actual performance and provide insights to management.
    • Identify trends and potential risks or opportunities.
    • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
    • Review and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
    • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
    • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Participate in special projects as assigned.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls.
    • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal control frameworks.
    • Support internal and external audits as necessary.
    • Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for accounting-related matters.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior-level role.
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
