Summary

Under the direction of the Dietary Manager:

+ Responsible for all aspects of meal preparation, meal service, and overall food quality according to the planned menu, resident preferences, and physician-ordered therapeutic diets and plans of care

+ Demonstrates appropriate sanitation and infection control practices to meet state and federal regulations

+ Oversees the general kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Manager

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Quantity food preparation experience in a healthcare setting preferred

+ Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-Time

Shift/Schedule: Day Shift, inclluding Weekends; approx. sixteen (16) hours/wk

Wage Range*: $16.00/hr-$20.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

Weekend Differential: $3.00/hr
