Description
Fire Protection EngineerResponsibilities
Lead and mentor younger engineers
Design fire suppression, sprinkler, and fire alarm systems
Prepare 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
Prepare documents and calculations for the LEED certification process.
Coordinate design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners.
Plan project production process.
Project Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Prioritize effectively, has good follow-through, and practiced self-implemented quality control measures
Ability to communicate well in writing, as well as verbally
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree
in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering
PE
strongly preferred.
Five+ (5+)
Previous leadership experience required.
