- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance defense or coverage matters, including policy interpretation, analysis, and claims resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support coverage determinations and litigation strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate insurance policies, contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes, including negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting insurance coverage and litigation.
- Manage caseload efficiently and effectively, meeting deadlines and achieving billable hour targets.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on insurance coverage and litigation.
- Strong understanding of insurance law principles, including policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and claims handling.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of successfully handling complex insurance coverage matters and litigation cases.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.
- Experience working in a law firm with a billable hour requirement, preferably with a target of 1800 billable hours annually.
