    Torch Technologies is seeking an Acquisition Product Support Specialist at Eglin AFB, FL that will utilize their experience and knowledge to ensure logistics support requirements are designed into the weapon system by working issues involving the logistics elements (e.g. supply support, manpower and personnel, support equipment, technical data, packaging/handling/storage/transportation, facilities requirements, training support, maintenance planning, etc.).

    The selected candidate shall advise and assist with development of logistics planning documents to include, but not limited to Life Cycle Sustainment Plans, weapon system delivery and deployment plans (Support Production Manager/organic and or depot maintenance/modification plans and schedules), Integrated Logistics Support Plans, product support business case analyses.

    Employ supply chain, and other state of the art data analysis to ensure necessary level of asset visibility. Provide other logistics studies, analyses, and reports as required. The U.S. Air Force is developing a new LRSO nuclear missile.

    The service plans to field the LRSO by 2030 to replace the current, General Dynamics (now Raytheon) AGM-129A Advanced Cruise Missile (ACM) that originally entered service in 1991.

    In May 2021, the Air Force awarded an Engineering and Manufacturing Design (EMD) contract to Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Tucson, Arizona.

    The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division (AFNWC/NDB), which is resident at Eglin AFB, Florida, is the System Program Office (SPO) responsible for the acquisition.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
    • Develop program management documentation to support all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
    • Shall advise and assist with development of Level of Repair Analysis, including research and identification of alternative components where required.
    • Develop briefings to support acquisition decision milestones. Must maintain clearance at required level. * Must have Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, a related field or equivalent experience. * Must have at least 3 or more years in related logistics experience. * Must be familiar with DoD Acquisition processes or project management professional principles. * Must have advanced programs experience.
