    • USAPosition RequirementsSummary:This is a full time position that requires the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast paced environment.
    The Privileging Specialist will report directly to the Director of Privileging and Expirables and will be responsible for privilegingphysicians and CRNAs within an assigned territory.


    Essential duties and responsibilities:
    To ensure new hires start on time, will be responsible to coordinate with onboarding specialist and hospital/office-based locationsTo ensure existing hires are cross privileged on time, will be responsible to coordinate directly with the provider and hospital/office-based locationsCompleting reappointments timelyEstablish long term positive relationships with Medical Staff OfficesCommunicate and escalate non-compliant providers to site chief(s)Send notifications communicating any estimated start date changes to onboarding specialist/site chiefsEnsure accurate data of all privileging information is entered into databaseSubmitting staff dues and other fees for approval and paymentRun weekly status report on all providers pending privilegesProvide privileging reports to upper management, site chiefs, and external departmentsResponsible to attend Regional meetingsReview daily exception reports to ensure and maintain database qualityLoad and maintain privileging letters into databaseServe as a resource to internal departments, providers and outside agenciesResponsible for monthly reporting, administrative duties, and department projects as assigned

    Positive and professional attitudeAbility to work with all levels of associates from entry level to upper level managementExperience working in an office setting, preferably in the health care industryStrong follow up, interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast passed environmentMust be a self-starter and a team player who enjoys providing the highest level of customer serviceExperience working with databases, and ability to create and manipulate spreadsheetsExperience with Microsoft OfficeLocal & distance travel requiredEducation and/or ExperienceHigh School or equivalent, college degree preferredEEO StatementNorth American Partners in Anesthesia is an equal opportunity employer.
