    Our client is seeking a Temporary-Perm Legal Secretary to support their New York City office. You will be responsible for supporting attorneys and other managers in the office. This role is based on performance and will be on a hybrid schedule.

    Description

    • Assist attorneys and staff with daily secretarial support
    • Handle printing documents & set up meeting materials for conferences
    • Set up Zoom conference meetings and send to attendees, along with dial-on conference meetings
    • Answer phone calls and emails and route to the appropriate employee
    • Assist with timekeeping for staff members as needed
    • Scan, copy, save, print, and distribute documents
    • Handle incoming and outgoing mail/packages - USPS, FedEx, and UPS
    • Assist with preparing retainer letters for attorneys
    • Organize attorney's calendars, notes, and reimbursements

    Profile

    • Completed Bachelors Degree is highly preferred
    • 1-3 years of Legal Secretary/Paralegal experience
    • Prior experience in litigation in a plus
    • Strongly proficient using Ms Office & Google Suite
    • Experience with attorney timekeeping is a plus
    • Docusign experience is preferred
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to be problem solution oriented and able to work independently
    • Work Schedule: Hybrid Tue-Thu in-office with remote Fridays and alternating Mondays
    • Hours: 40 hours/week, 8:30am-5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch break
    • Location: Herald Square Manhattan
    • Duration of assignment: contract to hire
