    Description

    This is a part-time opportunity that involves providing education support and working as a cafeteria technician. The Education Support Personnel role is focused on assisting students in their learning process under the guidance of certified staff. This includes supporting special education students with behavioral and social skills as well as helping with their individual needs. In addition to monitoring student progress, this position involves adapting classroom activities, assisting with instructional plans, and ensuring a positive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to provide updates on student progress.

    • Adapts classroom activities, assignments and materials to cater to students at different learning levels.
    • Assists special education students with classroom and daily living skills.
    • Supports the implementation and supervision of various instructional activities.
    • Communicates with stakeholders to share information on student progress.
    • Maintains instructional materials and student records.
    • Monitors students in various activities to foster appropriate behavior.
    • Provides positive reinforcement to students to help them reach their objectives.
    • Responds to emergency situations and conflicts with students to ensure a safe environment.
    • Transports students as needed to ensure their safe arrival.

    Education: High school graduation or GED

    Certificates & Licenses: Highly qualified

    The Cafeteria Technician position involves preparing and serving food items in a school cafeteria. This role is responsible for maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition.

    • Arranges setup for food items and equipment to meet cafeteria requirements.
    • Cleans utensils, equipment, and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions.
    • Collects payments for meal costs and evaluates prepared food items.
    • Inspects food items and supplies to ensure quality and compliance with health standards.
    • Inventories food and supplies to maintain availability.
    • Monitors students' food choices to meet nutrition requirements.
    • Prepares and serves food items based on nutritional needs and requests.
    • Reports equipment malfunctions to maintain safety.
    • Responds to inquiries from students and staff regarding meals.
    • Stocks food and supplies to ensure an adequate supply.

    Education: High school graduation or GED
