Posted Date: 9/13/2023POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for performing various routine or special clinical laboratory tests in one or more sections of the laboratory using automated equipment, manual-testing and microscopic analysis to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsible for supervising assigned departments or shift insuring compliance with regulatory agencies along with hospital and laboratory policies and procedures.

Responsible for training and competency assessment of employees for assigned departments or shifts.
Responsible for maintaining accreditation requirements for assigned departments or shifts. Performs other related laboratory duties as assigned.
Effectively interacts with patients, hospital employees, managers, and other health team members while maintaining established professional standards. Participates in performance improvement activities. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science or Biological Science.
Clinical Internship in an approved hospital required. Technical Supervisor

• Four years in clinical area of laboratory they are supervising.

General Supervisor

• Two years of experience in laboratory high complexity testing.
