We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our growing team. This position ideally would be located in the Mid-Atlantic area. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an HRBP, you will be responsible for handling all aspects employee relations, union relations, hiring and corrective action while driving forth the people first mission of the company. This position will report directly to our Senior Human Resources Director.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead team responsible for performance management, employee engagement and talent development.


    • Work with site managers and leaders to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in business and employee needs.

    • Lead all investigations as required by the company for divisions.

    • Provide management mentorship to build leadership capabilities to address and resolve employee issues.

    • Assist with training as required. Own orientation and onboarding, though our online platforms.

    • Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.

    • Build and help facilitate the succession plan for each location and help train leaders on how to effectively build a bench.

    • Execute the performance management and day to day team planning.

    • Work as a union contact for all union related issues.

    • Execute mandatory compliance training throughout the year.

    • Participate in safety meetings and assist risk management teams with incident investigations and reporting.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related work experience of at least 5 years.

    • Proven track record of strategic partnerships which improve the HR experience.

    • Excellent written, verbal, public presentation /communication skills and strong interpersonal social skills required.

    • Union experience is required.

    • Strong discernment, including problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.

    • Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.

    • Able to work efficiently with a variety of personnel.

    • Strong employee relations background.

    • Position may require occasional travel.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive base salary $85,000- $95,000/yr.
