Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with a California Bar License from an accredited law school with 1+ years relevant construction defect experience to join our team at Paul Walsh Law, APC in Berkeley, CA. This is a hybrid role in which we seek occasional work at our Berkeley office, with flexibility to work with the applicant's schedule. The Associate Attorney will work on a variety of legal matters, including research and writing, document review, preparing and responding to discovery, expert preparation and meetings, depositions, mediations and preparation for trial and arbitration hearings. The role requires a candidate capable of strong legal brief writing and regular reporting to clients. The job includes contacting clients by phone, e-mail and in written communications and reports. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, and has a strong work ethic and works well with a small team to work collaboratively for the firm's success.
Qualifications
Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and includes health insurance, dental insurance and a bonus structure for exceeding minimum hourly requirements.
