General Information:

The Hitachi Energy location in Jefferson City, MO is a premier designer and manufacturer of distribution transformers for the electrical grid, commercial data centers, industrial facilities, wind & solar alternative energy sources.

Responsibilities:
Job assignments are primarily designed to give students the opportunity to work on projects.
Design Projects that will impact & reduce cost savings, scrap, rework and first past yield performance.
Participating and supporting improvement projects.
Support the Continuous Improvement teams utilizing tools from the 4Q Quality process.
Work with Design Team using CAD tools such as ACAD & Creo Parametric.
Work on updating Design Procedures.
Support Senior Engineers for providing technical support.
Other projects as assigned.

Your Background:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Currently enrolled in an accredited university program in the US.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States.
