Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Part time Logistic Specialist to join our team in the Lakehurst, NJ area
The Logistics Specialist will perform packing, handling, storage & transportation (PHS&T) support

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop and deliver the PHS&T data and information required to support the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) family of systems
• Use working knowledge of MIL-STD-2073-1E codes to follow packaging requirements, development, and application of proper methods of preservation and packing.
• Create special packaging instructions as needed.
• Develop and select packaging containers
• Collect and deliver PHS&T parts data via Excel spreadsheet
• If applicable, Special Packaging Instructions (SPI) shall be developed and provided in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E (22 April 2019)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• 3 years of logistics support for entire life cycle related to DoD systems, to include some experience providing Packing, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) support.
• 8 years of relevant logistics support for entire life cycle related to DoD systems may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Must be able to accurately identify and develop PHS&T coding, develop special packaging instructions, and identify requirements for dual use and multi-use containers.
• Must have a working knowledge of MIL-STD-129

* Must have working knowledge of MIL-STD-2073-1E (22 April 2019) Preferred Qualification: Experience with Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S

government secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The projected compensation range for this position is $60,700-$100,300

There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories
