    Speech and Language Pathologist

    LOCATION:

    Hamadeh Educational Services, Inc. (HES) is an educational service provider that services PK-12 public school academies in the Metro Detroit area and is seeking highly qualified and motivated Speech and Language Pathologist.

    Our students come from diverse educational & ethnic backgrounds attending at:

    Star International Academy (PreK-12): Dearborn Heights/Canton Township

    Universal Academy (PreK-12) – Detroit

    Universal Learning Academy (Pre-K-12)- Westland

    Noor International Academy (Pre-K-6) - Sterling Heights

    JOB POSTING DATE: May 16, 2024

    SALARY: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

    CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

    -Minimum of Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.

    -Must have current license from the State of Michigan as a Speech and Language Pathologist.

    -Must meet continuing education requirements as prescribed by rules promulgated by the State of Michigan, as applicable.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    -Students with speech and communication needs with the appropriate services needed to improve their speech and communication abilities.

    -With the parents and appropriate school personnel to develop and implement IEPs, 504 and intervention plans.

    -Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, to benefit students with communication needs academically, socially, and personally.

    -Administers formal and informal Speech/Language evaluations; reviews and interprets results and makes recommendations accordingly.

    -Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.

    -Performs other duties as may be assigned
