    As part of the team at our new Indian Land Free‑Standing ER, you will:

    Work in anewly constructed, modern emergency departmentequipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologyProvide prompt, compassionate care to patients with a wide range of emergent conditionsCollaborate with experienced physicians, nurses, and support teams dedicated to excellence in emergency servicesHelp establish workflows, culture, and best practices as part of a new location launchMake a meaningful impact in a rapidly growing community with increasing access to quality healthcareWe are seekingRespiratory Therapist (RT)who are committed to teamwork, clinical excellence, and serving our community.

    Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to inpatients and outpatients to patients of all age populations at Piedmont Medical Center requiring respiratory therapy services.

    Performs all aspects of respiratory care to include diagnostic test of the cardio-pulmonary systemperforms quality control on all respiratory care equipment to include I-STAT blood gas analyzersProvides respiratory care to patients.

    Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
    Other related duties as assigned.


    Required:

    Education:
    Graduate of Accredited and Approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist programAssociate degree required

    Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
    Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner's office.

    CRTT required (Verified by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.

    American Heart Association PALS and ACLS certifications required within orientation period.

    NRP certification required for NICU trained therapistsPreferred:
    Experience: 2 to 5 years of job-related experience preferred

    Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:
