    Job Description

    The Arcade Attendant ensures a safe, fun-filled, and exciting environment for our Arcade guests. Provides information and change for Arcade guests, promotes the rules and regulations and oversees the entertainment area.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Proper cash handling procedures to include Micros transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
    • Greet all guests and assist them with the purchase of play cards and explaining how the arcade functions.
    • Maintain a clean facility and work area.
    • Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
    • Restock redemption items and tickets in the games.
    • Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.
    • Document needed game repairs and communicates with the Engineering Department and immediate supervisor when games are not working properly.
    • Attend required meetings.
    • Other duties may be assigned.
    • Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
    • Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
    • Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
    • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
    • Conducts him\herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times.
    • Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.
    • Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.
    • Actively listens to others.
    • Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
    • Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
    • Must have a basic knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
    • Must have good mathematical and computer skills.
    • High school education and relevant training and experience preferred.
    • Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
    • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
    • Must have basic computer skills and be able to comprehend our systems after trained.

    Physical Requirements

    • Minimum lifting of 20 pounds.
    • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
    • Hearing, writing, typing.
    • Minimum pulling of 20 pounds.
    • Standing for long periods of time.
