    Position: HVAC Technician

    Department: Facilities

    Location: Topeka, KS - Onsite

    Overview:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our Building Maintenance team as an HVAC Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and servicing building equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. You will work closely with internal team members to address any HVAC-related needs and contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.

    Responsibilities:
    • Perform maintenance and repairs on all HVAC and boilers on premises.
    • Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repair of plumbing fixtures and electrical components.
    • Assist with electrical troubleshooting of irrigation controls.
    • Handle internal staff needs while maintaining building projects.
    Requirements:
    • 3 to 5 years previous experience in HVAC or related field.
    • Strong organizational skills: capacity to manage heavy workload while navigating competing priorities.
    • Detail oriented, motivated, dependable, and quality oriented.
    • Ability to work independently, but also as a collaborative team member.
    • Provide support to other team members when needed.
    Bonus Points:
    • Mechanical/Plumbing Journeyman license.
    • Johnson Controls Building Automation experience.
